Stress is a factor in five out of the six leading causes of death — heart disease, cancer, stroke, lower respiratory disease, and accidents. It is estimated that 90% of all physical issues are due to or related to stress.
We live in a stressful society. There are demands on our time, money, emotional and creative resources that never existed before. And yet, when we become “stressed out”, we are completely unable to tap into our creativity or our emotional strengths. We feel trapped, unable to focus or function well.
We often get into a downward spiral of stress- anxiety- inability to perform well in our jobs—more stress—more anxiety—on and on , until we collapse either mentally or physically.
Granted some stress can be beneficial when it moves us to perform well at work or get things done. But a little goes a long way and over time, that little bit of stress is increased to a level that can cause harm.
My coaching is tailored to help you cope in a healthy way. We will work together to discover the areas where you feel stuck , where you feel the anxiety or tension. We will work step by step to gently release your blocks and uncover the real cause of your response to the stress. We will release them, enabling the body, mind and heart to heal and to reach a state of peace and calm. It can happen for you.
