How Can I Help Myself to Heal?

According to the American Psychological Association, chronic stress is linked to five of the six leading causes of death — heart disease, cancer, stroke, lower respiratory disease, and accidents. It is estimated that 90% of all physical illnesses are due to or related to stress.

We live in a stressful society. There are terrific demands on our time, money, emotional and creative resources that never existed before. And yet, when we become “stressed out”, we are completely unable to tap into our creativity for problem-solving or our emotional strengths. We feel trapped, ill, unable to focus or function well.

We often get into a downward spiral of stress- anxiety- inability to perform well in our jobs—more stress—more anxiety—on and on , until we collapse either  mentally or physically.

Granted some stress can be beneficial when it moves us to perform well at work or get things done. But a little goes a long way and over time that little bit of stress increases to a level that can cause harm. And that can translate to disease, disability and even death.

Maybe you have already been diagnosed with a disease like cancer, IBS, lung disease or are recovering from a stroke or heart disease. You may be experiencing depression or anxiety. Some of you are receiving traditional medical treatment for your issue but are wondering how can I help myself to heal?

My transformative coaching process is tailored to help you cope in a healthy and positive way. We will work together to discover the areas where you feel stuck, where you feel anxiety or tension. We will work step by step to gently release any blocks and uncover the real source of your health issue. We will then learn from the experience and release what has been blocked, enabling the body, mind and heart to heal and to reach a state of peace, calm and healing. It can happen for you.
